Scott Bowers - Owner and President

Scott is from the Carolinas and first came to Costa Rica in 2001 to broker a deal with one of the top for-profit private universities in Costa Rica and Panama. That "deal" took two years to complete and forever altered Scott's life. In course of its completion Scott began to look for other business opportunities (or excuses to travel frequently to Costa Rica) and came up with the idea for Package Costa Rica. The rest, as they say, is history. Scott now resides full-time in Costa Rica. He loves all aspects of Latin culture and even can hold his own in the discos with the locals dancing Salsa or even Tico Cumbia! Scott has four great kids who reside in South Carolina. They are Michelle, Zachary, Emily and Rebekah. Their pictures appear below as well as a link to a report Zachary recently did at school on Costa Rica (which by the way is chock full of interesting data about Costa Rica). Needless to say, Scott is very proud of his kids.

Pablo Patiño - Office Manager

Office Manager Pablo was born in Costa Rica. He is 21 years old. He is finishing his studies at Universidad La Salle in San Jose, where he is seeking a bachelor in business administration and two licenciaturas, one in "gerencia" and the other in "finanzas." He likes to work out at the gym, but also to go out on the town. He likes all kinds of music and to travel. Pablo likes to play basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer and to shoot pool (he occasionally is able to beat his boss, Scott). His favorite soccer team is Saprissa. All his family lives in Costa Rica. His father is a veterinarian and his mother a housekeeper. He has two grandfathers living as well; one is a doctor and the other a businessman. Pura Vida!

Matías Flores - Itinerary Designer

Matías (Matt) Flores An avid fan of the outdoors and adventure sports, Matías is also quite likely the person who spoke with or wrote to when you inquired about a Costa Rica Package. Born in Peru, but having lived in Costa Rica most of his life, Matías is the Sales Manager at Package Costa Rica and oversees the design of many of the trips offered by this specialty travel company. Matías has a Masters degree in Environmental Management & Ecotourism, and works closely with Scott to conduct the business of Package Costa Rica along the lines of Sustainable Tourism. Matías expertise in tourism includes over 10 years in the field with experience in trip design, guidance, operation, and logistics. Matías enjoys exploring and finding new hotel properties for Package Costa Rica, especially at the beach.

Daniel González Guerrero - Website Designer

Daniel Gonzalez Daniel is an expert in the area of the internet and is probably the main reason you found our web site. He is also a lover of nature and sports. In his view tourism and technology go together, since the tourism industry depends on technology, specifically the Internet, to attract more tourists to Costa Rica. Daniel is Webmaster of Package Costa Rica, and is responsible for optimizing our site for our visiting tourists. He has approximately 8 years of experience in professional technology services. Daniel shares his time as webmaster of Costa Rica with his other occupation as owner of Digital Design Costa Rica, which offers design web, multimedia, lodging web, applications, software, etc.
