Tamarindo Diria

For our clients that prefer the warmth and white sand of Guanacaste “gold coast” beaches, the flattest and driest part of the country, the Diria is the place where we like to let them soak up the sun. The hotel is beachfront and you can choose to relax by their pool, or on the beach, as each are within 50 meters of the other.  The Diria is also centrally located right in the middle of Tamarindo, Guanacaste’s most active beach town. Within short walking distance from this hotel are all the bars, restaurants, shops and other things of interest in Tamarindo. The hotel offers 4-star luxury and at a surprisingly affordable price. Rooms can either be ocean, garden or pool view.

Barcelo Playa Langosta Resort

Barcelo is the Spanish king of all-inclusive resort and they have been doing it in Costa Rica for a lot longer than even we have been around. The Langosta Resort sits beachfront to the beautiful crashing waves of Langosta Beach, a short walk from Tamarindo. The all-inclusive system means you don’t have to worry about food, or drink, because three meals a day are included, plus all the locally produced alcohol you care to drink. The resort also features a great pool, casino and nightly shows. The Langosta Resort is a great choice among Guanacaste Costa Rica hotels for the all-inclusive inclined.

Borinquen Resort

A really cool hotel located in an even cooler place (and I am not talking temperature). The Borinquen is located about an 1.5 hours from the Liberia airport at the base of the amazing and active Rincon de la Vieja volcano. The hotel is built in the style of a Western ranch, which goes hand in hand with the Guanacaste cowboy culture. They have their own stables and you can take a ride to a nearby waterfall, or, for the more daring, hike up to the crater of the volcano. The hotel offers a great spa with the unusual treatment of volcanic mud baths. If you are spending your time in Guanacaste and want to have that volcanic experience, Borinquen is an accommodating choice, with the Arenal volcano being a good 4 hours away.

Playa Conchal Resort

Playa Conchal is the choice among our Guanacaste Costa Rica hotels for a truly upscale all-inclusive resort in the Tamarindo area. The resort is located a good 15 minutes out of town on the brilliant white sand beach known as Playa Conchal, of course. Like other all-inclusive, you don’t have to worry about food, or drink, because three meals a day are included, plus all the locally produced alcohol you care to drink. Playa Conchal also has an 18 hole championship golf course for those who like the links. The adjacent Reserva Conchal features condos that can be a great option for large families.
