Photography Tour with Brett Cole

  

Day 1. Welcome to Costa Rica! A representative will pick you up and transport you to a downtown San Jose hotel for your first night. There you will meet Brett Cole, your Photography Instructor, who will accompany you on the trip. Brett will provide you with a brief demonstration of the things you will see and learn on the tour. Day 2. You will receive a private transfer to La Fortuna where you will check in at one of the areas top resorts with excellent volcano views. La Fortuna is the home of the Arenal Volcano, one of the most beautiful and active volcanoes in the world. It also hosts a spectacular display of nature, including the largest lake in Costa Rica and a variety of birds, reptiles and mammals.

Day 3. Spend the day shooting the sites surrounding the Arenal Volcano National Park.

Day 4. On this day you will have an early morning private transfer to Monteverde. There you will check in at a rustic mountain lodge in the quaint little Quaker community that sits high in the mountains overlooking the port city of Puntarenas on the Gulf of Nicoya. In the evening the group will take a night tour with a Bilingual Guide of the Monteverde Preserve for a session of nighttime nature photography in one of the most spectacular eco-systems on the planet.

Day 5. You will spend the day with Brett Cole photographing the Monteverde Preserve Brett is an expert in the Preserve having spent some 600 hours on the ground taking pictures as Staff Photographer. After dinner, you will enjoy another nighttime photography session in t he Preserve accompanied by Brett Cole as your guide.

Day 6. You will take an early morning private transfer to Tamarindo, Guanacaste. There you will check-in at a comfortable hotel near the beach. As you traverse the Costa Rican countryside with Brett there will be many photographic opportunities.

Day 7. This day you will visit the Palo Verde National Park. Here you will spot a fabulous array of wild birds and a myriad of creatures such howler monkeys, green iguanas and king fishers. Brett Cole will accompany you to the Park.

Day 8. You will take a tourist bus back to San Jose and check in at a San Jose hotel for your last night.

Day 9. You will take a hotel shuttle or taxi to the airport to catch your flight home.

The price of the package is as follows:

Trip is limited to groups of ten persons, including photography instructor. Trip is offered the following times of the year:

Trip includes all accommodations, transfers to each location, tour of Palo Verde National Park, and professional photography lessons from Brett Cole as he accompanies you throughout the trip. Breakfast is included at hotels, but other meals and drinks are not included. All taxes are included except for the airport departure tax that must be paid in cash or credit card (only Visa accepted for this) at the airport upon departure. International airfare to and from Costa Rica is also not included. To book the trip we require a 50% deposit with the balance owed 45 days prior to your Costa Rica arrival date. You can book directly from our web site using our secure Online Booking Form. After we process your payment we will send you a confirmation via email. Should we not receive bookings for the minimum number of persons required for any of the above dates, the date will be cancelled and we will either refund 100% of your deposit, or move your package to a different date, as you desire. Minimum bookings must be received 30 days prior to the package start date or the date will be cancelled. 100% deposit required if bookings are made 45 days or less prior to the package start date.
