Thanks for the follow-up. We arrived home safely less one bag of luggage which was delivered the next day; No big deal...just a bunch of dirty clothes and minus 2 bottles of hot sauce (confiscated at U.S. Customs). Bummer!!

Our time in Costa Rica was incredibly fun and educational for the whole family. We had a great experience!!! Thank you again for doing such a great job putting together a fun-packed variety of activities, outstanding accommodations, and your own personal touch of airport greetings and private transfers. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to re-visit beautiful Costa Rica at some point in the future.

Karl and I just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic time in Costa Rica. We were glad that we picked the Costa Rica highligts package because it gave us a glimpse o what there is to do in Costa Rica and allowed us to see 3 different parts of the country which was really really great. We did some things that we were glad to have done but aren't sure we will ever have the guts to do them again ie the canopy tour (i'm terrified of heights) and the kayaking out to Isla Damas (crocodiles - need I say more?!). All in all the experience was wonderful and we've been showing all our pictures to our friends and telling them they need to visit this gorgeous country. We know we're definitely visiting again...we really loved it. The only thing that kinda sucked was that day we were supposed to do the kayaking at 3pm but couldn't do it until the next day because of the rain but we didn't know that so we kind of missed out on the day that we were supposed to have to ourselves because we pretty much just waited around for the kayaking tour at 3pm so we didn't leave the hotel.

It rained alot while we were there but that didn't bother us at all...we enjoyed every minute of our trip. The trip was great from the get go...Yuri was really wonderful - he gave us great tips, answered all of our questions, introduced us to soda let us try cow tongue...it was just wonderful the minute we arrived. That very day we knew we were coming back.

So...thanks to all of you. It was fantastic...the hotels we stayed in were all great...the food was phenomenal and we had an amazing time...it was actually our honeymoon vacation and we're so glad we chose to do this tour. So great!

Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had in Costa Rica. It was probably one of the best vacations we have ever taken. We are accustom to staying in one place for 1-2 weeks so it was good to get up and go every few days.The people in Costa Rica were so friendly and kind. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer in each place we visited and of course that we spoke the language!

The accomadations were wonderful. The Arenal Lodge was a heavenly surprise although it was little far from town....and what a ride up that hill!!!! I am glad that we booked the two rooms for each destinations; that really worked out for both the kids and ourselves (more personal space for everyone). The horseback riding/ziplining tour was great...We ended up doing another horsebackriding adventure to the waterfall to go swimming.We ate at the lodge the first night(ok), and La Cochina (great food, great price, great banana split!)

At Monteverde we upgraded to two Junior suites that were up on top of the hill. It costs us a total of $30 for both nights. Much bigger rooms, beautiful view and not as many bugs as the smaller doubles. We loved it there! We could have stayed there for another few days.Selvatura Park was good and we ventured out to Monteverde Cloud Forest the second day. We also took a Sunset Horseback riding adventure; it was fabulous. Lots of galloping and the sunset was beee-u-ti-ful that day.We at the hotel first night(ok) and Morpho Cafe (great food, great price). The Monteverde Ice Cream place was yummy!

We arrived in Manuel Antonio after six long hours in the rain. The Gray line vans are very comfortable (thank goodness).The Casitas Eclipse was lovely. The room were nice and big and we had a connecting balcony. The airconditioining was not the greatest but it was not too hot. We spent an afternoon at Manuel Antonio park swimming (could not get the kids out of the water) and hiking to some of the viewing points and saw lots of monkeys along the way.Our kayaking adventure was nice but did not see much wildlife. We also worked our little butts off on a 3 km river adventure. Brian and I are still sore! The fact that lunch was included was a nice added touch because by that time we were hungry.We definitely could have stayed at Manuel Antonio a few more days just to enjoy the wonderful beach and atmosphere. We went to El Avion(good food for good price), Ronnie's Place (beautiful view of ocean and sunset, good prices) and El Gran Escape (a little pricey but great food,best dessert I have ever had).

The trip back to San Jose was veeeeery long........I would probably fly next time. We stopped at a few obscure places to pick up people and ended up waiting for 20-30 minutes each time....It took us about 7 hours......ugh.

The Best Western was ok... a little busy for us and the Denny's of course was a big letdown from the local places we had been.

All in all, it all went well.Everyone (including my 17 year old had a great time). Beautiful country with lots of things to see and do. I think we come back we will do the Northern Pacific and maybe the east coast.

Did you ever find the bag of clothes that we left in Uri's van in La Fortuna? Let me know.....

Trip was great!  I will be calling you shortly about the dental work.
A couple of comments about the trip – for your use in the future:
The Montezuma Canopy Tour was not run as safely as it could have been.  An inexperienced person could get hurt.  We rated this one last.
The other three canopy tours were great.  Aronal and Monte Verde were great but not for 1st timers.  Guides were very good.  We would definitely go back to each.  Horse back riding at the volcano was great fun.
Land & Love was the best overall.  It would be great for a 1st timers and was also great for us experienced ones.  It got longer and faster as you went along.  The towers were a blast.  Guides were amazing!!!!  Definitely would go back.  There was many other activities we would like to experience.  You should make sure you send people to this place.
All the places we stayed were great.  We really got a look at the country.  Food was best at Monte Verde.  The food at the all inclusive was OK, thank god for the alcohol.
The mix ups actually were a god send.  We would have never got to stay in Montezuma (which was a great nite) and we would have missed Lands & Love (which was overall great).  Thanks for all your help. I would definitely refer you to anyone who wants to go to Costa Rica.

Sorry I waited until tonight to e-mail you, but I've been playing "beat the clock" all day to make a writing deadline.

Had to write as soon as possible, though, and tell you what an AWESOME time we had in Costa Rica. Hats off to you for arranging such a great tour. Everything went sooooooo smoothly, and we could not get over how wonderful and friendly the Costa Rican people were. Loved going from terrain to terrain and were especially grateful WE didn't have to do any of the driving (especially from La Fortuna to Monteverde!).

Every single person had a blast on this trip, and nobody was ready to come home. Thank you so much, and please let me know how I can be of service to you (as a writer).

A few tiny suggestions (and I mean tiny): the hotel in Monteverde was nice (loved the setting), but there were no screens on the windows in the cabins, so you either had to be really hot or let the bugs in. At San Jose Best Western, they were doing construction and woke us up (the one morning we could sleep in) at 6:45 AM. Loved the casino; weren't too crazy about San Jose after the beautiful places we went.

Can't thank you enough for providing us with memories that will last a lifetime! LOVED EVERY MINUTE!!!

Well, all good things must come to an end......

I just want to again thank you for all of your assistance during our (too short) visit to Costa Rica. We had a wonderful time!

I hope to hear soon from Century 21 (or the owner) regarding the house issue and a possible refund of sorts.

Also, we just made our flight on Friday.....I wish I knew the name of our driver, as he did everything possible to get us to the airport. What a horrible traffic jam - everywhere!. Luckily for us there were no large lines paying the departure tax, checking in, or getting through security. As it turns out, we even had about 15-20 minutes to do some last minute airport shopping!

Thanks again for your help. I hope that someday we can again visit your beautiful country. Also, if you should ever get the chance to visit the Pacific Northwest, please do not hesitate to contact me. We have a wonderful guesthouse for your stay and I would be very pleased to show you our fine city and surrounding area.

I know its been awhile since we've returned from our honeymoon in Costa Rica but believe me we are still talking about it daily! Thank you once again for showing us a great time while in Costa Rica. Being from the New York Metro Area we were a little skeptical at first of trusting a touring company with planning our vacation, however without the assistance of PackageCostaRica.com our trip would not have been the same. We were educated about the culture and history of Costa Rica and had a great time seeing a variety of the animals of Costa Rica on the first day with the Poas 4 in 1 tour. Next, we were challenged by all of the adventure that Arenal had to offer. In 3 days we hiked La Fortuna Waterfall, completed the canopy tour, went on a mountain bike trip around Lake Arenal, and then recovered at the Tabacon hot springs. After a few days of adventure it was time to relax and party. We then traveled to Jaco where we enjoyed the sunny beach, restaurants, and bars. Finally, we concluded the vacation with a fantastic night out in "el pueblo" with Yuri in San Jose.

Throughout our entire trip we felt very safe and made friends in each town. Both of us speak only a little Spanish, but we were able to communicate with a mixture of Spanish and nglish. We recommend others to keep an open mind when traveling to Costa Rica and to plan to have an excellent adventure. We are looking forward to returning soon and using PackageCostaRica.com again.

Our whole trip was great. My highlights were swinging from the rope and reluctantly jumping into the water!!! We loved the shrimp at Mareisqueria and enjoyed all of the adventures you set up for us. Your country is beautiful which only came in second to the people of Costa Rica. We are already looking forward to our next trip. Thank you so much for helping us have a wonderful honeymoon! We enjoyed our stay at Montaña de Fuego specially the spa treatments we were able to take advantage of. Our days in Manuel Antonio at "Si como no" were definialy our favorite. We were treated like celebrities our whole time. The attention to details show by everyone at Package Costa Rica made all the difference I allowing us to relax during our honeymoon. We loved every moment of our stay in Costa Rica and cannot wait to return.

You were so great to us. even making a special trip to our hotel to check on us the night before we left.

Every communication with Yuri, Scott and Mario was so helpful. You all are extremely patient and knowledgable.

Re: Jaco - I know, I know, you warned us! ;) The fact that we had a problem and that you and Yuri put considerable effort into finding a solution was very much appreciated. But we were very happy with every other aspect of our trip. Hotel Montana de Fuego was wonderful, and the canopy tour we went on was amazing! Tabacon was relaxing and the food there and at the hotel was great. Hotel Costa Verde in Manuel Antonio was gorgeous, and we took a guided tour of the National Park and saw many lizards, bats, sloths, a porcupine, and a monkey. We also saw a huge group of howler monkeys at the hotel. Yuri showed us some very cool places in Manuel Antonio as well. The only real problem we had in the end is that our trip was too short! (Next time - two weeks!)

We will definitely recommend (and already have recommended) Package Costa Rica to anyone we know that's considering travelling to Costa Rica.

All in all, the trip was fantastic. Both Yuri and Ronald should be commended for the great jobs they did getting us, and all of our luggage, around. And, poor Ronald should receive extra kudos for the late night trips and putting up with my brother!

Things that might make it better next time is coordinating the flight schedules so we have more time to go to the Tabacon Springs and play in La Fortuna. And, even though we saw more in the vans, it might expedite the trips if we flew around rather than drove.

The folks at the Los Lagos were less than solicitous, which was surprising to me. It took me 5 tries before they'd send a bus to pull our luggage to accommodate the early check out. And, there was no place to stow our luggage, securely, once we got the luggage to the front desk. And, the breakfast buffet did not even come close to comparing to the El Diria. I would hesitate staying at this place again, if it weren't for the spectacular pool and view of Arenal.

Once at the El Diria, the staff was overly solicitous--working diligently to provide our every need, and making sure we had everything we needed, when we needed the same. Special mention to Franklin, the bartender, who personally assisted the entire family with our every drink need. And to Pablo, the head porter and greeter who made sure we had assistance with our luggage, and hooked us up with a local to take us snorkeling. This was a spectacular place, with spectacular service.

The fishing trip was wonderful! Both captains worked very hard at meeting our needs and making sure we had a good time. One of the boats landed 2 sails, and all of us brought in enough Dorado to feed the entire family that night.

We do want to thank you and your staff for all the work you put into the honeymooner's trip. They are still talking about the 'beauty' of CR and the people they have met.

I do appologize for getting so anxious about the places they would visit and stay. After all, you know best, and I should never have worried!! I wanted the trip to be very romantic, and it was!

The prostitution element was not a big deal. I showed A and A the articles online about abuse and prostitution and the economy....they understand better now....I of course, have seen plenty of it in Asia and other places. The good comes along with the bad. We have our own problems in paradise here in the Keys.

Thank you again for the lovely trip. I believe A and A will email Yuri soon. They had dinner with the couple the last night and enjoyed it so much.
