The Costa Rica Green Season has begun. Technically it starts in May and runs through the middle of November. Our customers often ask us about rain during this time of the year. Typically what you will see are afternoon showers that last from 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon to around dusk at 5:30 to 6:00 pm. In most areas, the mornings will be full of sunshine and nights clear. So don’t freak out about rain. Activities are always scheduled in the morning when there is sunshine. And the green season is called that because it is when the country is at its lushest and greenest. Costa Rica is covered in tropical rain forest and without rain, guess what? No rain forest. So, the Costa Rica green season is a wonderful time to visit.
