They say the canopy tour was invented in Costa Rica. That seems to me to be a bit of a stretch. I mean surely the military have been using zip lines for decades. Maybe converting this time honored means of getting from point A to point B very quickly into a recreational activity to be enjoyed by civilians is what they mean by “invented in Costa Rica.” But one thing is for sure, there is no place like Costa Rica to enjoy zipping at speeds of as much as 60 mph from one tree to another high above the ground in the jungle canopy. There are countless of such tours scattered throughout Costa Rica. Almost anywhere you want to go, you can find a canopy tour. Costa Rica has indeed put canopy tours on the map (or maybe it’s vice versa). Our customers at Package Costa Rica always ask us “it is dangerous?” Well, there are risks, but aren’t those what make life worth living. I mean if everything was “safe and secure” wouldn’t life be just a little bit boring. Every once and a while we need to soar like the eagles. We need to feel like we are flying. Gravity is a dangerous fact of life. Gravity kills. However, defying gravity will make you feel more alive than any experience you can imagine. Costa Rica’s wonderful canopy tours afford us that invigorating experience. Try it. Sure you might die (just kidding actually), but you might just discover a new reason to live a little bit more.
